Law Enforcement Records Personnel Appreciation Day is a collaborative effort by Records Managers and Supervisors around the state to recognize the conscientious men and women who work behind the scenes of law enforcement agencies providing vital services and maintaining agency records.
On any given day, Records personnel assist the citizenry, sworn officers, and interact with local, state and federal agencies to provide reports, statistics, and report accurate criminal history. These are the professionals who assess, collect, organize, preserve, maintain control of, and provide access to the portions of law enforcement records that have lasting value.
Law Enforcement Records Personnel Appreciation Day is a time to focus on the importance of the many different tasks and points of contact Records Personnel are responsible for on a daily basis.
